When I’m on a trip or taking a walk with my girlfriend, my throw-over-the-shoulder camera of choice is the Canon AE-1. As much as I love the magic my DSLR is capable of, I hate carrying it around during leisure time. Attracts too much attention. Nobody pays a bit of attention to my AE-1, and having only aperture, shutter, manual focus, and the light and world around me is therapeutic. I completely understand why Annie Leibovitz answered Brian Williams’ question “what is the best camera to buy right now?” with “an iPhone.”

Anyway, I was finally able to invest in a scanner. Haven’t had access to one since I graduated from school. This roll of Ilford was in my camera around Thanksgiving/Christmas and it’s just now seeing the light of day. Hope you enjoy.
